Mark is a fourth-generation Colorado native, born in Cortez and raised in Summit County. Mark enjoys snowboarding, camping, hiking, fishing, and boating—fully embracing everything Colorado has to offer.

They have one daughter attending Colorado State University and another in the Poudre School District. They are also active volunteers at Liberty Common High School.
